-Musical Saw-

Either you call it "the 219", "the Region", or "NWI". This is where we are... We span the three counties bordering Lake Michigan and sit happily between Chicago and South Bend.

What started as a desire to record and catalog the songwriting of the Saw, became a formidable band. We are a "very happy to be working together" band. As a three piece, we all have a mutual love for cool noises, innovations in theory, performing with spontaneity, and getting paid for what we love to do. We write a lot of material and that ambition keeps growing. We learn ridiculous masses of cover tunes, because they amuse us, and we are pleased that our goofy ass choices seem to amuse the audience as well. As a traditional piano trio, for example, it is hard to cover Darling Nikki by Prince, without sounding like Richard Cheese, and yet, we can. I think it is simple because we are having more fun than most others who are swimming in this scene of stagnant water. I guess you could say, we don't mind being the warm spot in the public pool. Come on out to a show and no... we won't ride you Pickleback...

 We have been compared to many artists and gotten many great reviews, but I like this one best from my father...
